一、说教材：1、教材分析，pep版英语以话题为纲，以交际功能和语言结构为主线，引导学生运用英语完成有实际意义的语言任务，即：话题——功能——结构——任务。它具有强调语言运用、注重能力培养、突出兴趣激发及重视灵活扩展的特点。

2、本节的地位与作用

本节课是unit six的第四课时，主要是学习单词giraffe和deer和常用语yeah! you’re right. 及 能运用形容词tall和short描述人或动物。根据教学内容，

我将本节的教学目标定为：

（1） 学生能听懂、会说两个有关动物的生词：giraffe，deer。

（2） 能运用形容词tall和short对人或动物进行恰当的描述。

（3） 能听懂会说两句常用语yeah! you’re right.

（4） 学生感受学习英语带来的成功和快乐，学习英语的兴趣得到提高。

3、教学重难点：

（1）重点：掌握四个句子：the giraffe is tall. the deer is short. you’re tall. i’m short.

（2）难点：能运用所学的词句描述人或动物。

小学生是以具体形象思维为主，为了丰富学生的感性认识，我借助了图片、玩具和多媒体课件（cai）等教具进行教学。

二、说教法

小学生活泼好动，而且对英语充满好奇和兴趣。所以能激发他们学习兴趣将使他们的多元智能在教学中得到充分体现。在教学中我坚持以tpr教学法为核心，引导学生在游戏中学习，在交流中运用”，以学生为主体，通过简明扼要的、富有激励性的导语引导他们主动参与各种活动，并注重培养他们语言交际能力和思维能力

三、说教学过程

教学过程是师生互动的过程。在本节课教学过程中，为体现教为主导，学为主体的原则，充分调动学生学习的主动性和积极性，我分五个环节进行：

1、复习旧知，作好铺垫

低年级的学生活泼且好动，无意注意占主导。所以课前我以一首轻快的《if you are happy》,以吸引他们的注意力，使学生在轻快的音乐节奏和优美的画面中，进入英语学习的情境。上课后我先通过let’s do热身,在边说边做中调动学生学习英语的热情,而后又通过guessing game这一学生喜爱的活动，锻炼学生的听力，充分调动学生的积极性，让学生在不知不觉中复习巩固相关的知识，同时也通过这一游戏自然地引入下一步giraffe, deer,的教学。

教材地位

本课时中出现的xxx’s，在前面的第三单元中已有所接触，可以说是unit3的知识延续，具有承上启下的作用。服饰类单词的单复数使用更是对今后的单复数学习有着重要作用。

根据《英语课程标准》的教学理念，教材特点以及四年级学生的实际情况，本课的教学目标确立为：

知识目标

1．能够听、说、读a pair of shorts,a scarf,四会a sweater,a jacket

2．能够听懂、会说、会读、会写本课时的主要句型：whose…is this/are they?it’s/they’re…并能在适合的情景中自由运用。

3．能够跟录音朗读对话，并能分角色进行表演。

能力目标

1．要求学生能围绕服饰类单词，在一定情景下，正确使用whose…is it/are they?及回答it’s /they’re xxx’s.进行交谈。

情感目标

1． 培养学生良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略。

2． 培养学生对美的鉴赏和认识。

在仔细研究教材和分析学生的心理和生理特点的基础上，我认为本课重点是掌握有关寻找失主的句型：whose…is this/are they? it’s /they are xxx’s.等有关服饰的表达法。难点是a pair of …of… 中of的读音；能正确运用whose…is this/are they? it’s /they are xxx’s单复数的提问。
