一、教学重点

let’s make：制作有趣脸谱；

三、教具准备

1、教师准备教材配套的课件。

2、教师将 let’s make 部分的眼睛、嘴、鼻子、耳朵和空白脸谱复印给每个学生一份。

3、教师准备一个自己已制作好的可笑的脸谱。

4、学生准备胶水。

5 、教师准备身体部位的名称图片。

四、教学过程

1 、热身、复习 (warm-up/revision)

(1)师生之间进行英语对话。

(2)学生之间自编对话并表演。

(3)教师播放第2 课时的两首歌谣，让学生边拍手边说歌谣。

(4)师生共同演唱歌曲 head shoulders knees and toes.

2、呈现新课 (presentation)

(1)出示身体部位的名称图片，教师将图片很快的在学生面前晃过，问：what is it?

(2)教师出示课件说：this is a funny face. 重复 a funny face ，学生跟读 a funny face、this is a funny face.

(3)教师出示教学课件并说：let’s make a funny face.

在制作脸谱之前，师生说：let’s make a funny face. 当脸谱制成后，师生共同说 this is a funny face.

(4)教师播放歌曲《how are you?》动画，告诉学生“试一试”“比一比”，看看谁能通过自己试唱学会歌曲。

(5)学生间相互练唱，再次让学生掌握歌词和节奏。

3 、趣味操练 (practice)

教材分析与建议

初中生在学习化学之前，对空气和氧气已有较为丰富的常识。这些是他们以前积累的知识，但从化学学习的角度来看，就显得零碎、不够深入。课前应了解学生有关的具体知识情况，以便从学生现有的发展水平出发，在教学过程中，恰当的外理教材及采用适宜的教学方法。

课的开始，建议除检查学生对绪言重点内容的理解程度之外，还应检查他们掌握的有关空气常识的情况，以针对性的引起学生学习的动机。

在做空气中氧气含量的测定的演示实验时，不仅要使学生学习实验操作步骤和操作技术，还要指导锻炼学生观察、分析的能力；此外，要引导学生掌握这种科学的思维方式，并把它推广到其它实验。即把验证性的实验改成探究性的实验。先不把结果告诉学生，而是在已有知识的基础上，提出新的问题，然后通过设计实验来研究此问题，并逐渐的解开疑点，找出答案。

在通过实验推断空气组成成分的基础上，对于200年来，人类对空气认识的历史过程的教学，重点应放在：当时的科学家是怎样进行科这研究的，应介绍他们所具有的抓住事物间的微小差异而做出判断的唯物主义观点和作风。使学生受到对任何事物都必须有一个实事求是的科学态度的教育。同时也应叙述一下，从那时起，科学家把“天平”用于研究工作，使化学研究走向定量化。

教材通过讲述空气对人类的危害和对自然资源的破坏，介绍了有关环境保护方面的知识。教师应该有意齐全的积累一些有关大气污染事件的报道资料，尤其应对当地的环境污染情况作些调节器杳，培养学生的环保意识。有关大气污染的防治可作为课外讨论专题。

在讲述过程中，也应介绍大气的自净作用。启发学生在各自的岗位承担起环保的义务。

对稀有气体，通过简史介绍，启发学生科学研究新领域总是在不断发展，科学思维也不能是一成不变的。就接受新事物，在学习中适当发展求异思维，而不能盲目的接受甚至产生僵死或孤立片面的思想。在介绍稀有气体的用途时，可以演示稀有气体在放电管中的放电现象，以增另学生的感性认识，提高他们学习化学的兴趣。

本节课后，可介绍几种元素符号，以分散元素一节的教学难点。
