教学过程：

一、审题。

1、揭题读题。你见过的白杨是长在什么地方的？我们今天学习的课文中的白杨是长在戈壁滩的（简介大戈壁）

2、设置悬念。课文围绕白杨写了一件怎样的事呢？我们通过学习课文来搞清它。

二、初读课文，感知大意。

1、按要求自学课文。

（1）一边读课文，一边想一想：课文写了一件什么事？

（2）联系上下文或利用工具书自学生字新词。

（3）划出不懂的地方。

2、检查自学情况。

（1）先指名几个同学说说写了一件什么事。再进行归纳：爸爸和他的孩子们在去新疆的列车上谈论白杨的事。

（2）生字新词的检查，重点放在是用什么方法学懂的。如“浑黄一体”，可联系前面的“天和地的界限也并不那么清晰”来理解。

（3）指名读课文，及时进行讲评。

（4）质疑问难。

三、学习第一段。

1、第1自然段：这一段描写了一个怎样的环境？你是从哪些句子里看出来的？

2、第2、3自然段：这是一个“自问自答”从哪儿可以看出白杨树很多？“一个高大挺拔的身影”指的是什么？

3、用“虽然--但是--”来说说这三个自然段的主要意思。（例：虽然环境十分恶劣，但是白杨树长得高大挺拔。）

4、指导朗读，加深理解。

四、课堂练习。

第二课时

学习“学习提示”；读懂第2、3段，总结全文，。
