"朗读"对学习英语非常重要。我们在自己的国家里学习人家的语言，语言环境差，听和说的机会有限，主要是通过看书来学习，这就带来很大的局限性，因为看书大多是默读，不出声音，而语言之美恰恰是来自于它的声音，来自于它本身的节奏和韵律。事实上，书写在纸上的语言是一个样，说出来又是一个样，唱出来或演奏出来又是一个样，每个人都明白不同的人演唱或不同的乐器演奏其效果又不同。所以，学习英语，必须下很大的功夫学习有声英语，这就要多听，多说，多朗读，尤其对于初中生来说，学习英语，多朗读是非常有好处的。

一、 朗读可以提高口语表达能力。

就我自己学习英语的体会来说，朗读可以算是"准口语"，是从教材或书本内容到实际表达之间一个不可缺少的重要环节。要想把书本上的内容讲出来，首先要靠朗读。事先读过和未读过，其效果是完全不一样的。'就像我们排练英语小品一样，要通过精心地操练，道理是相同的。朗读是一种综合性的练习，他既是读，也是听，也是讲。学生在初中阶段培养好读英语的习惯，对自身的英语也是很有帮助的。《新概念英语》的学习，短小精悍的文章，若能认真流利地朗读，甚至背诵出来或使用自己的语言复述出来，持之以恒，一段时间后英语表达能力一定会得以提高。

二、 朗读可以提高语言节奏感并提高口语质量。

英语的轻、重读音很明显，起伏很大，节奏感很强。朗读时要注意自己的语音语调，类似连读和失去爆破等技巧也要注意。这不仅可以提高讲话的节奏感，而且这种节奏感会不知不觉地渗透到你写的文章里，我觉得初中生在看一些简单的英文版的读物时，应试着去朗读，既能扩大词汇量，又能培养英语的语感，同时也能加深记忆。

三、 朗读可以增强学生学习英语的自信心

坚持朗读，你会发现自己的音质越来越好，节奏感越来越强，读得越来越流利，自己就越来越有信心，越来越有兴趣。我很喜欢朗读英语，但我在读书的时候，我会经常看些课外报刊杂志，并把它读出来，甚至会对着镜子朗读，久而久之，我发现自己的语言语调有了很大的进步，阅读能力也有一定的提高，于是越来越喜欢英语，并增强了学习自信心，这无疑对我现在当英语教师也有很大的影响。

我建议同学们在学习英语的时候，要了解到英语是一门功夫课，要从基本做起，积极的坚持不懈地朗读英语，相信一定会取得进步。
