推荐信格式英文

1.被推荐人的基本情况介绍。侧重于个人的毕业时间、学校、所获学位以及个人的专业经历。

2.推荐人对被推荐人的基本评价。侧重于被推荐人的专业基础、个性、特点、工作态度和在学术上的前途估计。若是推荐研究生,推荐人还需进一步说明其深造学习的基础和当前所具备的研究能力。显然,恰如其分地评价被推荐人的基础、能力和前途,比言过其实的赞誉更令人情服,更具有实际意义。

3.推荐人可以着重介绍被推荐人曾经获得的奖励,发表过的论文,参加过的重要学术会议,以及曾在学生组织或学术团体中的任职等来支持自己的评价。

4.推荐人还必须清楚地表明被推荐人留学的身份是研究生还是访问学者,专业领域和研究方向是什么。

如果大学提供了现成的推荐表格,则必须按这类表格认真逐项填写。推荐表格中一般有学生综合评估的一项,即要求推荐人说明该生在所教的学生中应列为前5%,10%,或25%等。这种评估是指教授的个人评价,可以稍高一点。

通常来说,学校教授、任课老师、企业老板、学部委员都是可以写推荐信的。

一些留学生在挑选写推荐信人的时候,往往会进入一个误区,认为请名头越大的人写越好。

这个问题只能是根据每个人的具体背景来回答,并没有普遍适用的答案,但不管是请什么级别的人来写,一定要体现该推荐人和申请者是如何相识的,是什么关系,并确实了解申请者的情况,这样才合乎情理和逻辑。

留学推荐信的格式和签名【2】

标准的留学推荐信包括下面几个部分:信头,称呼,联系方式和日期,正文,落款和签名。

信头,就是说你要用带有自己学校标志的信纸来写,因为你的推荐人一般是自己学校的老师。

我们的推荐信是自己打印的,你可以做好一个信头放上去,如果你所在的系里有自己的信头,就建议你使用自己系的标志信头,那样更好。

有时候

申请学校可能会要求,推荐信必须具有信头,并且信头不能是打印出来的,这时候你就得去学校的商店里买那种专用的带有信头的打印纸了。

在北大, 学校的博实商店就有卖这种纸的,

分红色和蓝色两种颜色的信头。

留学推荐信的称呼可以用 dear sir/madam,dear admission officer,dear colleague(要求你的推荐人曾经在所申请学校工作过) ,或者 to whom it may concerns等等。

联系方式和日期写在推荐信最上方,信头之后,一般来说是写推荐人的联系方式而不是对方学校的联系方式。

联系方式在前,日期在后;联系方式写在左边,日期写在右边。

当然这里的联系方式也可以不写,如果你在落款中已经写明了的话。

抬头和落款中只要有一处写到联系方式就行。
