友人问我：你会生活吗？我不竟哑然一笑：开什么玩笑？生活，谁不会啊？我要不会生活，今天能长这么的个儿吗？友人说：你没听明白，我要问的是怎么样生活才算活得快乐？友人的这一问，让我不禁一愣，“怎么样生活才算真正的快乐”我还真没认真思考过！是啊，人的生活究竟应该怎样过才算是得到真正的快乐呢？
那么， “生活”是什么？“快乐”又是什么？它们之间有什么内在联系？
也许有人会说有钱就快乐，也许有人会说好好工作就会快乐，也许有人会说成为了研究生博士生就会快乐，也许还有人会说有一个幸福的家庭就会快乐，各种各样的说法都有。真是这样吗？柏拉图曾说过：“生活从不简单容易、即使生活在愉悦顺遂的境遇中，你也会遇到需要克服的困难。”有的人就因为不懂得“生活”、无法走出困境。我们不妨看一看这样的报道：钢铁公司总经理死于银行倒闭，死前五年靠借钱度日；广州某大学三名大学生因不堪学业重负竟在同一周内从高楼坠下身亡；香港著名艺人“哥哥”也是从高楼坠下身亡至今仍是一个迷……够了，这样的报道几乎天天都有。所以我说，凡是单纯从金钱、工作、学业、家庭的单一方面来看等生活的快乐，都是错误的。
生活的含义深刻，内容丰富多彩。会生活的人，生命才会更有意义。因此，每个人都应学会生活。
生活，就是平凡。你得不断面对乏味的日子，保持心灵的宁静。现代化的喧闹打破了田园牧歌式的生活，人心渐渐变得浮躁。做一个快乐的人，关键是保持内心的恬静。追求绝对的完美是不现实的。理想主义的完美是不存在的，过分追求完美是痛苦的。随遇而安，却永远不迷失自我，学会平静，理解平凡，也就学会了生活。
生活，就是理智。你得不断抵制各种诱惑。人生中有许多要拒绝的东西，该拒绝而不拒绝，必受其乱。今天的金链子，明天可能是吊死你的绳索。吃别人的嘴软，拿别人的手短。礼节太多必有诈，好处来得太突然也必然有诈。感情发展太迅猛，就要提高警惕。要洁身自好，常在河边走，也要不湿鞋。要想不湿鞋，遇事多慎思；要想不湿鞋，私欲要常戒；要想不湿鞋，静夜多反思，自己给自己找借口，终将导致小洞不补、大洞吃苦。
生活，就是烦恼。你得不断解烦去忧。人生有顺境，也有逆境，但不可能处处是逆境。人生有巅峰，也有谷底，不可能处处谷底。如果因为顺境或巅峰而趾高气扬，因为逆境或低谷而灰心丧气，那便是浅薄的人生。所以，当你处于谷底时，你要多学习，多思考，失意不失志，勇敢地走出谷底书写大写的人生。生活本身就是烦恼，只是烦恼大小而已。不知足的人多烦恼，苛求的人多烦恼，贪婪的人多烦恼，野心勃勃的人更是烦恼不尽。寻求没有烦恼的仙境，那是痴人的童话。若把烦恼当作覆盖快乐的尘埃轻轻抹去，岂不多了一份生活的情趣。天下人皆烦恼，但不要自寻烦恼。
生活，就是宽容。你得不断理解和谅解。人若想得到快乐，就要宽容。人生的种种烦恼，多是因为恕己而不恕人。一味贬人，无处不是荆天棘地，一味损人，无时不是阴云淫雨。宽以待人，无处不是光风霁月。一个善意的称赞，给人以温暖的阳光。一个不经意的赞许，给人以难忘的印象。一个优雅的赞赏，可以带来信任与希望。人生舞台上，人人都有可笑之处，愿你笑话别人之前，最好先笑话自己。
生活，就是创新。一个人要不断挖掘生命的价值。要创新，首先观念要更新，落后首先落后在观念上。要想改变生活，首先要换一个脑子，善于接受新事物，善于发明与创造。市场经济，给人们提供太多的机会，“千万别在一棵树上吊死”。
