我们学校从去年开始，开设了“课前两分钟演讲”的校本课程。其实，学校营造这样的文化氛围的确让学生受用了很多，我个人觉得至少有以下几个好处：一、势必学生要去阅读课外书，准备演讲内容，这样，就潜移默化地增加了学生的阅读量；二、因为，这是每个学生必须要完成的任务，所以，给那些平时胆小，不敢发言的同学搭建了平台，至少在锻炼他们的胆量；三、因为要其他同学点评，所以要求演讲者必须声音响亮，吐字清晰，长此以往，就培养了学生的口头表达能力。四、演讲的内容要结合平时生活或是学习中的现象来阐述，所以，也培养了学生善于观察周围事物，分辨是非的能力。
作为一种文化，那就要研究，就要探索，善于积累。本学期，我班的“课前两分钟”，我是这样组织开展的：按学号进行，每次两个学生，预先准备演讲稿，内容自定，但一定要明确自己今天演讲的主题是什么，然后结合自己在平时生活中、社会上或是学校中、班级里观察到的现象进行表述，也可以通过一个小小的寓言或是一则小故事来阐述自己的观点。并预先落实一个比较优秀的学生全权负责这个工作：预先给演讲的同学一张文稿纸，让各演讲者的内容以书面形式呈现出来，写上演讲时间、演讲人、演讲稿的题目，字数最少不低于300字，最多也不要超过400字，（为了保证两分钟）脱稿演讲完后，（学困生不脱稿，但一定要有书面材料，到时，照着读。）书面材料交于负责人，由她让人在课余时间给演讲者进行点评并打上得分。（满分10分）当然，点评的同学不是总这几个，每个同学都有这样的机会。所以，一个同学在演讲的时候，同学们都听得非常用心。

我是****专业研二的学生。我叫***，目前是一名光荣的党员发展对象。研究生的生活已经过去了一半，回顾这一年半的时光，我感慨万千。

有这样一篇寓言故事：山脚下的一个村庄里，住着一位饱经沧桑的老人。他老伴去世了，两个儿女也相继死去。他孤孤单单地生活 着。疾病折磨着他，他的身体太弱了。依靠乡亲们的接济，老人才勉强活下来。可是，倔强的老人不愿接受人们的施舍，他要靠自己的力量生活 。于是，他十分努力地干活。一天，老人拖着疲惫的身体上山砍柴。费了很大的力气，他才砍好一担柴。老人艰难地挑着一担柴往家走。天黑了，他实在挑不动了。他放下柴，想休息一会儿。他想：生活为什么 对我如此不公平呢？他想到了死，开始呼唤死神。死神问：“你为什么 呼唤我？从来没有人主动找过我。这时，老人忽然觉得生命是那样的宝贵。于是，他编了个理由，让死神走了。
时间就是生命，珍惜时间就等于珍惜生命。大家经常把浪费别人的时间就是谋财害命，浪费自己的时间就是慢性自杀。但是大家做到了吗？大家经常把一分钟能做的事用两分钟，把两分钟能做的事用四分钟，一节课能做的事，做半天。大家就是这样珍惜自己的时间吗？古人曾写过一首诗《明日歌》“明日复明日，明日何其多，我生等明日，万事成蹉跎。”希望这首诗激励我们去珍惜时间。
这个寓言故事告诉人们，每个人的生活中都有很多困难和挫折，只要鼓足勇气 ，勇敢面对，就一定能够战胜它们。任何时候都不要选择死亡。
人生的路或长久或短暂，但没有一个人的人生之路是一帆风顺的，也没有一个人是十全十美的。记得奥斯特洛夫斯基曾说过，人最宝贵的东西是生命。生命属于我们只有一次。一个人的一生应当这样度过：当他回忆往事的时候，他不因虚度年华的悔恨，也不因碌碌无为而羞耻……是的，没有任何东西比生命更宝贵。有了生命，我们可以去聆听世界上最美妙的声音；有了生命，我们可以去观赏大自然里与我们息息相关的各种动植物 ;有了生命，我们可以闻到所有花的芬芳；有了生命，我们可以走遍世界的每一个角落……请珍惜我们的生命吧，哪怕只是短暂的，不要在快要死亡的时候才体会到生命的可贵，因为，那就太晚了……
